The lost episode brought back such great memories. Especially Rosemary Prinz, who plays “tortured frustration” better than anyone. She is truly one of the finest actors of our time.

I can’t help wondering what the original story projection was for the Amy character before you had the limitation of Rosemary’s six-month contract. Was she to stay in town? And how would the truth about Philip’s parentage come out? I remember you remarking that Nick Davis was supposed to die after six months. That would have impacted the original story greatly. I’ve always been curious as to what would have happened had Rosemary Prinz not been cast as Amy, and had Larry Keith not been as popular as Nick.

I wish AMC could revert back to the way it was! I do think that the future of soaps lies in their past. That one episode (the lost one) was so well crafted that one could immediately catch on to the entire first storyline, and get to know those characters just as quick. Wasn’t Ruth Warrick grand??? Well, they all were, and so are you. Thanks so much for sharing with us.

I love your website and all the vintage clips we can watch. This brings me to a suggestion for holidays when they broadcast “encore” episodes: I would love it if the “encore” episodes were old, vintage shows. I think everyone loves to look back at them. I know I do. I’ve been watching OLTL since the 2nd year and AMC almost as long. Agnes, thanks for everything!

with the Big move and so many unhappy about it. would there be any possibility you would ever come back to NYC? I guess we will see in time who is staying and who will leave the show. Some of the long time actor are communting how long can that last and some are just sad about it. Mrs.Nixon, I have been seeing alot of you lately with the move and all on Tv. I must say you are as sweet as can be. I love everything you have done with All your Soaps. mainly AMC, OLTL. please keep those wonderful stories coming.

I can’t thank you enough Dear lady for sharing your children with us all. The’ve been there through the thick and thin of my life. You should be a very proud Mom!!!
Not many people can go through life touching as many lives as you have touched. You’ve made me cry, laugh, yell and even love with AMC and One life to live.
I’ll bet your own parents were so very proud of what you have accomplished!
I want to write so bad myself. I just have a very poor memory.
My our dear amazing Lord keep you and ALL your children safe and happy for ever and ever!!!! Amen!!

I just wnted to let you know that your show helped me *so* much with coming out to my parents and dealing with sexual abuse. AMC has been such a part of my life–you cannot know how much it has helped me.
